A Bloggers World
Well, it would appear that I have successfully created a blog. Now the question on my mind is what is the difference between a blog and a website? If, in fact, this could be considered a website, then it is the first website I have created since my sophomore year in college when I had to create a website about a francophone country. Hmmm, I think it was Madagascar. That was a disaster. Anyway, so here I am with my very own blog where I can write whatever enters my mind. I guess an update on my life is appropriate for those first time visitors. A proud graduate of Bates College (Lewiston, ME) just four months ago, I am currently unemployed, living at home in Toledo, Ohio, and driving my mother's 1997 candy-apple red Town and Country. It's real nice/miserable. Being the passionate sports fan that I am, I desire a position in the world of sports. However, the real world has been a bit of a shock to me. Never did I imagine being in this position when I left Maine what feels like years ago. That is how I came up with the title of my blog. I tend to come up with angry outbursts that some people find humorous. Thus, I figured I could combine my passion for sports with my bitter reflections on the real world. Seems like a good start. Enjoy your day.
I like 80s music by the way...and Indie rock, sort of. Just Arcade Fire, Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah, and whatever my former girlfriend you used to put on cds for me. I also obsess over the Cleveland Indians and Browns. So prepare yourself for that, but I plan to minimize my ravings about Cleveland sports, at most to three or four a week...on each team. Gotta go ride a newly acquired HealthRider, this exercise machine inherited when my friend moved to California. It's a nice addition to the family room; it can be found between two Lazy Boy rocking chairs in front of the television, for now.
